The City of Ames has contracted with Shekar Engineering for this project, which will include replacement of storm sewer intakes, upsizing of pipe in between intakes, and replacement of sanitary sewer manholes. The project is expected to take five to six days to complete.

Motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists are encouraged to take note of this construction activity in the area and allow extra travel time to detour around the work zone.
