Sophomore Grace Swoboda has been named the Big 12 Swimmer of the Week after her recent performance against the Iowa Hawkeyes on January 31. Swoboda secured first place in the 100 breaststroke, finishing with a time of 1:00.45. This result set new records for both Iowa State and Beyer Pool in the event.
With this achievement, Swoboda now holds the top spot on Iowa State University’s all-time list for the 100 breaststroke.
The Iowa State Swimming and Diving team will return to competition on February 6, hosting the Kansas Jayhawks in their final home dual meet of the season.
