Homewood Golf Course Open Through on Nov. 3

Homewood Golf Course will be open through Thursday, Nov. 3. The course will be closed for the season beginning Friday, Nov. 4. 

“At Ames Parks and Recreation, we want to thank everyone who golfed at Homewood Golf Course in 2022,” said Nate Pietz, Recreation Manager. “We are looking forward to the golf course reopening the first week of April 2023, weather permitting. We appreciate your business and look forward to another outstanding season in 2023.” 

While the golf course will close, the Homewood Clubhouse will be available to rent year-round. The building provides an ideal location to host a birthday party, baby shower, bridal shower, wedding reception, business meeting, or holiday party. The Parks and Recreation Department manages 38 parks and offers approximately 180 athletic, aquatic, instructional, and wellness programs. Indoor programs are provided year-round at the Community Center and Ames/ISU Ice Arena.
