The Iowa State women’s swimming and diving team faced the University of Iowa in the annual Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series at Beyer Pool on Saturday. The Cyclones were defeated by the Hawkeyes with a final score of 105-194.
Despite the loss, head coach Matt Leach expressed optimism about his team’s progress. “Last year to this year, we’ve taken some big steps forward,” Leach said. “We still have plenty of work to do, but I’m really proud of this family and Cyclone Nation should be proud of their effort. We’re going to continue to grow and continue to build to prepare for Kansas and Big 12 Championships in February.”
