0Comments

An open house to receive public input and feedback regarding improvement plans for Grand Avenue intersections will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 28, at the Ames City Hall City Council Chambers, 515 Clark Ave.

The Grand Avenue Intersections Improvement Study will take a comprehensive look at the operations of Grand Avenue through the key intersections between Ninth and 24th Streets. The study is intended to recommend lane configurations and dimensions, multi-modal improvements, and safety improvements to be incorporated into future capital improvement projects at these key intersections.

The open house will be a come-and-go format, and no formal presentation is planned. Participants are welcome to arrive at any time throughout the meeting. Those with questions or comments who are unable to attend the meeting should contact Mark Gansen, Civil Engineer II, at mark.gansen@cityofames.org or 515.239.5291.
