Regular Meeting of the Ames City Council

There were two companies in a city associated with Story County that received two FDA inspections in the first quarter of 2026, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

FDA records show an inspection took place at Ortho2 in Ames on Feb. 4, reviewing compliance and postmarket processes for medical devices.

The United Way Food Drive is underway at the Story County Administration Building through May 7. Community members are encouraged to donate essential food and hygiene items or contribute monetary gifts.
