City of Nevada issued the following announcement on September 4.
Story County Emergency Management will be testing the Story County Iowa Alerts system on Friday, Sept. 27. Story County Iowa Alerts system provides residents urgent information regarding emergencies.
Residents can register for Story County Alerts by going to www.storycountyiowa.gov/alert or there is a link on the City of Nevada website at the bottom of the home page.
