City of Madrid issued the following announcement on Apr. 1.
Mayor Tom Brown, in collaboration with Superintendent Brian Horn, issued the following public notice on 4/1/20. In our effort to slow the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) and encourage social distancing all playground equipment, shelters, and restrooms at Madrid City Parks and at Madrid Elementary School are CLOSED until further notice.
Caution tape will be utilized to identify the restricted areas at all affected locations. Park visitors are asked to adhere to all closure notices and current social distancing recommendations. Please communicate this to your children to ensure their understanding and to reinforce the importance of these closures to ensure their safety and the safety of others.
