City of Gilbert issued the following announcement on August 17.
While growth isn't really a shock to most, it was encouraging to hear Gilbert gained an additional 129 residents. Our population went from 1,082 (2010) to 1,211 (2020).
Thank you to all the residents who took the time to fill out their Census questionnaires.
Population numbers often determine funding from State and Federal sources.
