City of Madrid issued the following announcement on August 23.
The Madrid City Council has approved open burning from September 18, 2021 through November 14, 2021.
All fires must be extinguished by sundown. Burning is for organic yard waste, leaves, and tree limbs only and only in small and controllable burn piles or barrels. BURNS CANNOT BE PERFORMED ON ANY CITY STREETS OR ALLEYS.
