Madrid Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement.

IOWA ARBORETUM
The sale will be on September 18-19 and will feature a wide variety of plants dug from the grounds including many varieties of bearded iris, daylilies, hostas, and other perennials for fall planting. On Saturday, enjoyed delicious pancakes prepared by staff member Kevin Lantz (pancakes are served on Saturday from 9 am to 12 noon). Come early, come hungry, and fill your garden with beautiful plants.
