City of Gilbert recently issued the following announcement on September 10.
Retire your worn or damaged American/State flags at City Hall. In the vestibule area there is a flag box that is accessible 24/7. Periodically, city staff will collect these unserviceable flags and bring them to the Story City American Legion for a proper flag disposal ceremony.
