City of Madrid recently issued the following announcement on September 15.
Attention all Madrid Residents – Map Attachment
Beginning Monday, September 20, 2021, Astech Asphalt will be in town to micro surface most of the streets in Madrid. The attached map will show what day (weather-permitting) each street that will be resurfaced. No concrete streets will be resurfaced. The product will only work atop existing seal coated roads.
As with all road construction, all vehicles must be off the roadways. Madrid Police will be ticketing and towing any cars left in the roadway on each work day. Work will move quickly from street to street and hopefully will not impact residents significantly. Work will begin around 8AM on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. You will be unable to access your driveway while your road is being resurfaced. Cure times can vary and the roads will be reopened as quickly as possible.
