We’ve all lost old habits and formed new ones over the last two years and one of the habits that your family may have lost is visiting the public library regularly. If that’s the case, we’ve missed you!
To help everyone get back into that “Library habit” again, your library staff have been busy putting regular recurring programming back into place—some of these programs you may have participated in the past, some are brand new and we hope your family will enjoy them.
For our youngest children, Wee Read on Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. is back in full swing and we look forward to seeing families with toddlers and preschoolers again for stories, songs and fun with Miss Jo! Our children’s playroom is also open and available for free play until noon after Wee Read.
For students, we’ll be offering the following programs:
- Lego Club meets on Monday afternoons from 4 to 5 through the end of May for students in grades K-5th. Drop in for both structured and free play with Legos.
- Tinker Tuesdays happens on Tuesdays from 4 to 5 through the end of April. This program for grades K-5th features many hands-on activities including experiments, art and ideas to tinker with.
