Join us on September 20 for our final Changemaker Series event of the year! This event will feature Madison DeShay, as she showcases her documentary The Center Street Story: An Urban Renewal Retrospective, a film about an African-American business and residential district in Des Moines during the first half of the 20th century that has since been displaced. After the film, you will get to hear from DeShay as she talks about her making of this and other important aspects of the documentary.
