The City of Madrid has an exciting opportunity. The Iowa Economic Development Authority administers the Community Catalyst Building Remediation Program which can help communities like ours spur development in underutilized buildings. The City Council approved to sponsor an application for this grant opportunity.
At this time the City is accepting proposals from property owners with buildings located in Madrid’s C-1 Central Commercial District that would like to be considered for this grant.
