On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Boone High School standout Emily Ades’ college team won in an NCAA Division II softball game

On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Boone High School standout Emily Ades’ current college team, the Pittsburg State Gorillas, won 1-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Minnesota State Mavericks.

The game took place at Gahnstrom Field. This was their first matchup against the Mavericks this season.

The Gorillas’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 1:30 p.m. at Gahnstrom Field against Maryville Saints.
