Emily Ades, former Boone High School standout, played on Friday, Feb. 28 in NCAA Division II softball game

On Friday, Feb. 28, former Boone High School standout Emily Ades’ current college team, the Pittsburg State Gorillas, won 8-4 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Rockhurst Hawks.

The game took place at Mid-America Sports Complex. This was their first matchup against the Hawks this season.

The Gorillas’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 1:30 p.m. at Mid-America Sports Complex against Minnesota State Mavericks.
