Hazardous waste generated from a business requires different handling than residential hazardous waste and there may be fees associated with the disposal of the waste. Some entities that are viewed as a business might be surprised! If the hazardous waste is from a church, farm, school, or at-home workshop, those are considered businesses for hazardous waste disposal.
tMetro Waste Authority works with your business to audit current disposal and storage, as well as purchasing procedures to identify potentially less hazardous or more cost-effective alternatives. Metro Waste Authority partners with The Boone County Landfill and Recycling to accept the business waste at the satellite once it’s been determined the business is eligible.
