If you travel on the Prairie Du Chien Road bridge over Interstate 80 in Iowa City, be aware of an upcoming closure that may affect your journey. The Iowa Department of Transportation’s Cedar Rapids construction office has announced that starting at 7 a.m. on Monday, June 9, crews will close the bridge for a deck overlay project. This work is expected to continue until early August, weather permitting.
