Iowa DOT invites public input on U.S. 75 project in Hinton

The Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT) is inviting the public to participate in a hearing regarding a proposed project on U.S. 75 in Hinton, Plymouth County. The hearing aims to update and gather input on the completed alternative, environmental documentation, impacts, and property acquisition plans for the proposed improvements.

The event will take place on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Hinton City Hall Community Center located at 205 W. Main St. in Hinton. An open house is scheduled from 5 to 5:30 p.m., followed by a formal presentation and question-and-answer session starting at 5:30 p.m.

For those unable to attend in person, feedback can be submitted online from June 17 through July 31. Participants are required to provide their name and zip code before commenting.
