If you travel on Boyson Road at Interstate 380 in Hiawatha, be aware of an upcoming ramp closure that may affect your journey. According to the Iowa DOT’s Manchester construction office, the northbound I-380 exit ramp will close for construction work starting Sunday evening, June 15, weather permitting. During this period, drivers will be directed to use the Tower Terrace exit and return on southbound I-380 to reach Boyson Road.

The southbound entrance ramp to I-380, which has been closed since April, is scheduled to reopen on Monday evening, June 16. The Iowa DOT advises motorists to drive cautiously, adhere to posted speed limits and signs in the work area, and remember that traffic fines for moving violations are at least double in work zones. Drivers should remain alert, maintain ample space between vehicles, and wear seat belts.
