Describing the match, head coach Matt Fannon said: "We've played really well regularly this season, and today we just weren't quite on it. This happens and we're disappointed, but we know the best thing is that we don't have any time to stew on it. Onwards and upwards."

Iowa State will conclude its Texas road trip Sunday when they face No. 7 TCU in Fort Worth at 1 p.m., with live coverage available on ESPN+.
