Iowa State University has announced that the 2026 Beauty and the Beast event will take place on Friday, February 13, at 7 p.m. inside Hilton Coliseum. The event will feature the Iowa State gymnastics team competing against Western Michigan, while the wrestling team will face West Virginia, a Big 12 Conference opponent.
This will be the 10th edition of Beauty and the Beast at Iowa State. The 2025 event drew a record crowd of 9,470 fans to Hilton Coliseum.
Tickets for the event will be available for purchase in the coming weeks. Gymnastics and wrestling season ticket holders, along with floor seat members, will receive further details about their tickets and seating arrangements directly from the Athletics Ticket Office via email.
The MatCYd Club (Johnny's) will continue its usual operations during the event.
